The Board Chair annually appoints an Annual Review Subcommittee whose membership includes members of the Executive Committee and additional trustees as appointed by the Chair and approved by the Board. The Subcommittee is charged with assessing the performance of the President for the preceding year. The Subcommittee provides its assessment, and a compensation recommendation, to the Executive Committee for deliberation and referral to the full Board. The annual review process is generally initiated in the spring and completed by September.
