¶¶Òõ̽̽’s Earth Week Celebration features an expanded series of workshops and activities throughout the month of April and into May that honors ¶¶Òõ̽̽’s long history of environmental advocacy and looks forward to a greener, more sustainable future.

Join the Office of Sustainability and other campus partners for engaging events that will deepen your understanding around sustainability, ecology and the environment.

Several events honor community members who help the university reduce carbon emissions through transportation choices. The Office of Sustainability and Transportation and Parking Services (CATMA) are distributing treats to bus commuters Monday, April 22, from 4-5 at the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Medical Center’s main transit stop (on the north side of Given). It will be an especially good day to plan to ride the bus home. Students who depend on their bikes for transportation can make a stop at the Davis center Atrium May 1, from 9-11 a.m. at the Bike to Breakfast event.

A highlight of Earth Week is the EcoFair, presented by the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Eco-Reps April 24 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Davis Center Atrium. The event is an interactive fair featuring internal and external sustainability partners focused on waste, transportation, food and providing sustainability information and resources. Stop by each of the tables to receive sustainability resources, reusable menstrual cups, helmets, potted plants and more.
