The Student Affairs Advisory Board (SAAB) brings student voices into conversation with the administration in order to ensure our student communities are represented and understood.
As advocates for their peers, members of the Board believe that this committee can benefit the student population at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ by increasing awareness of a variety of issues, collaborating with different partners, centering diversity and inclusion, and serving the community.
The primary role is to:
- Advise the Division of Student Affairs in dealing with all non-academic matters related to the general welfare of the student population
- Provide feedback and advice about current and potential future university programs and communications
- Advise on policies related to the initiation and implementation of student services, student government organizations, and cultural programs of significant student and University community interest
- Assist with the recruitment of prospective board members
- Act as a resource for campus partners
