Michael "Mike" Blouin moved to Vermont to pursue a master’s degree; he completed his studies in the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Field Naturalist Program in 2015. Mike's mission as a teacher (and learner) centers on building, questioning, studying, and reframing our relationships with one another and with the natural world. As a lecturer in Rubenstein, he teaches Natural and Cultural History of Vermont (NR 9) for transfer students and leads a discussion section for Race and Culture in Natural Resources (NR 6). Mike also supervises interns pursuing their K-12 teaching license in the Secondary Education Department.
