BIO

Julie is a lifelong scientist, returning to grad school after a 30+ year career in the biotech field. She has been an active volunteer in ocean health/conservation living in southern Rhode Island most of her adult life.  After moving to Vermont in 2020, she became more interested in other environmental and climate change issues and eventually decided to pursue these issues full time. Julie is insanely passionate about spending time outside in nature and want to advocate access and opportunity for all.
