As announced in the October newsletter, educational sessions have been scheduled and are now available for sign up. While the Transitional Support Team has already begun scheduling individual meetings with investigators whose protocols are due to expire in January, it is highly recommended that everyone attend one of these sessions prior to meeting with the team.  This will help you become familiar with the new system and ensure a productive meeting which results in completion of a new protocol.

Important Transition dates and details

  • The ability to submit protocol materials in the InfoEd system will be turned off on Monday, December 2nd so that the office can begin transitioning into ¶¶Òõ̽̽Click. Investigators will continue to have read access to view their protocol records in InfoEd.   Investigators may contact the IACUC office or speak with Abbey Dattilio or Aubrie Clas to discuss any emergent issues that require approval after December 2nd
  • The office will have access to the live system as of December 17.  Broader access will be allowed to the entire community on January 2nd.  This will give the office and a few select investigators an opportunity to test.  However, if you wish to get a head start on your submission into Click, we recommend that you attend a training and request a meeting with one of the Transition Support Team members for that week.
  •  Please refrain from submitting any new protocols beginning immediately.  Completing a new protocol form between now and December 2nd will require that you not only complete the information a second time, but that it go through the review process a second time.   Our hope is to reduce burden during this transition wherever possible.  However, if you have a specific circumstance, please contact Abbey or Aubrie to discuss how we can assist.
