Empowering individuals to lead sustainable lives and effect positive environmental change through education, innovation, and community engagement.

Our Values

Exploration

We create robust program opportunities that allow our students to explore both their on-campus community and the Green Mountain State. We go on hikes, tap maple trees for syrup, and learn about sustainability initiatives in the City of Burlington and beyond.

Environmentalism

Environmentalism provides a pathway for civic engagement opportunities that include but are not limited to environmental justice, advocacy, and education. By empowering students with the opportunities to take meaningful climate action, we are collectively building a sustainable and just future.

Belonging

We seek to foster a sense of affinity in a shared community by situating ourselves in a physical and social context, from the built environments that we inhabit to the natural landscapes that frame our lives. Our programs emphasize connection and dedication to community and the environment.
