Transfer Guide | Office of the Registrar | ¶¶Òõ̽̽(title)

¶¶Òõ̽̽ accepts transfer credits from institutions in 50 states and almost 80 nations. See how courses transfer.

This course equivalency look-up tool is to help you understand how credits and courses have transferred to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ in the past. It's an equivalency tool, and is not a substitute for an official evaluation of transfer credit by the Office of Transfer Affairs (transfer@uvm.edu). Changes happen to this equivalency information regularly, so check back often, and know that no transfer credit evaluation is official until credits appear on your University of Vermont transcript. This is not a comprehensive list of all the courses that could transfer in. This is just a list of what has recently transferred in.  Email transfer@uvm.edu to inquire about additional schools or courses.

How degree requirements are fulfilled

Your academic advisor will determine how transfer credit applies to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ degree requirements.

Effective Fall 2023, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ course numbers are four-digits rather than three-digits.  Credit is granted based on when the course was taken at the home institution.  Courses taken prior to Fall 2023 will receive credit showing three-digit course numbers.  Courses taken in Fall 2023 and going forward will receive credit showing four-digit course numbers.  You can use the course renumbering widget to see how three-digit course numbers translate to four-digits and vice versa.  If credit is granted, you will receive the credit whether the course number is three- or four-digits.
