BIO

Monika Donlevy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and is currently an MBA student at Castleton University. Donlevy is also an administrator in ¶¶Òõ̽̽’s Robert Larner College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedics and has supported the department’s chair, director of research, faculty, and medical students for more than five years. Joining Staff Council in 2021, Donlevy served on the council’s social committee, eventually co-chairing the same committee. In the spring of 2023, she was elected president of Staff Council for a two-year term. Under her leadership, Staff Council has improved communication on university changes and mission, served as a partner in finding solutions to unique challenges faced by the university, and built upon existing relationships with senior administrations to improve employee retention and recognition. As president of Staff Council, Donlevy is passionate about representing all ¶¶Òõ̽̽ staff and takes every opportunity to voice staff concerns, highlight areas of opportunity, and underscore areas of excellence. Her leadership emphasis is on creating community and addressing adversity through unity. Her goals include managing change through engagement, discussion, and collaboration. She strives to tap into staff’s institutional knowledge, an invaluable resource, and works to encourage all students, faculty, and staff to share their thoughts on the qualities the search committee should seek in ¶¶Òõ̽̽’s next president.
