BIO
Ali Mahmood is the Assistant Director of the Interfaith Center at ¶¶Òõ̽̽. He joined the Interfaith Center in July 2022 and previously taught at Allegheny College in the Film and Religion departments.
Ali earned his M.A. in Islamic Studies and Leadership from Claremont School of Theology/Bayan Islamic Graduate School and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics, and Governance (SDPEG) at ¶¶Òõ̽̽. His studies focus on economic systems and governance.
At the Interfaith Center, Ali supports programming that encourages dialogue and engagement across different traditions, providing opportunities for students to explore faith, spirituality, and community connections. Through his academic and professional experiences, he works to create meaningful spaces for learning and reflection.
