A monitoring program was initiated in 2002 at five protected forest sites in Vermont, three in Mt. Mansfield State Forest and two in the Lye Brook Wilderness Area. Every 5 years at each site, ten soil pits are dug and sampled from subplots in a 50 × 50-m plot.Plot Visit InformationTracking plot level visit information such as purpose, year, and specific quadrant visited.VMC.161.2460mySQL/femc/data/archive/project/long-term-soil-monitoring/dataset/plot-visit-information2002-01-01enuPurposePurpose of VisitPurpose of the visit at the plot level ranging from regen, veg, to soil.textfkPlotIDPlot IDNumerical ID given to each of the 100 plots within each site.intfkQuadrantIDQuadrant IDThe quadrant of the subdivided pit, NE, SE, SW, NW, NA.textfkSiteIDSite IDTwo letter IDs given to each of the 5 sites.textfldCommentsCommentsAdditional commentstextfldCrewCrewInitials of all crew members involved with plot visittextfldEndDateEnd DateEnd DatedatetimeYYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ssfldStartDateStart DateStart DatedatetimeYYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ssfldYearYearVisit yeardateYYYY
