Navigating Funding Opportunities for Dairy Producers - Thurs., Feb. 6
Body

Join the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Extension Dairy Team and partnering organizations to learn about grants and funding opportunities that are available for dairy and livestock producers in Vermont. We will review the different avenues for funding, the 2025 schedule, and what types of projects are eligible for funding with a special focus on funding for climate-smart agriculture. We will share tips and tricks for the application process and provide resources for technical assistance as well as discuss collecting supporting data and documentation for projects. The team will facilitate an interactive process for participants to build an effective farm description that encompasses the mission and vision for their operation, which can be incorporated into any application. This workshop is specifically designed for Vermont dairy and livestock producers. Producers from New Hampshire are welcome to attend.

Free workshop with lunch. Please register online by February 3rd.

Location is the Community Room at Norwich Public Library, 368 Main Street, Norwich, VT 05055

Note: The bad weather date is Thursday, February 20th if we need to postpone.
