The Elmer Nicholson Achievement Prize is presented to the student who has emerged from their total ¶¶Òõ̽̽ experience with the promise of great expectations in their field of interest. This year’s recipient is Evan Siegel (he/him).

A major in Business Administration in the Grossman School of Business with a minor in History, Evan Siegel has made a name for himself as a motivated and dedicated leader in both his academic and social communities.

His wide range of co-curricular leadership experiences include four years as a Student Government Association senator, a term as president of the Marketing Club, a student leader in Hillel, a member and philanthropic chair of Phi Mu Delta, Vice President of Communications of the Interfraternity Council, and a founding member of the Jewish Student Union. He has also served the university as an AdvoCat, a member of the Grossman Student Advisory Committee, and as the student representative on the Budget Finance and Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees for two years.

Reflecting on his ¶¶Òõ̽̽ experience, Siegel says, “For me, emergence is finding your true, authentic self. Education is using knowledge to benefit our society. ¶¶Òõ̽̽ has given me both.â€
