Koela came to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ from India as a graduate student. After successfully completing her master’s degree in Biology, she worked as a laboratory technician with Dr. Elizabeth Bonney in the Department Of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Koela joined the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in the Department of Medical Laboratory and Radiation Sciences in January, 2012 as a medical laboratory specialist and adjunct faculty member. In August 2014, Koela was promoted to a full time clinical faculty position.
