BIO

With decades of industry experience in a wide variety of fields, Keith Epstein has worked on teams designing racecars, sensors, wind turbines, solar tracking systems, sports equipment, machinery, and more. He loves introducing students to the engineering design process: developing, building, testing, and redesigning to continuously improve the project. He is passionate about renewable energy, efficiency, and conservation, and volunteers on South Burlington's Energy Committee. Keith lives in a home that he upgraded to be fossil-fuel-free and net positive energy—producing more energy from the sun than it uses. In his spare time, Keith enjoys biking, hiking, snowboarding, unicycling, reading, and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese.
