BIO

Dr. Sangster joined the Civil and Environmental Engineering faculty at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ in the fall of 2023, previously working for Northeastern University and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Between undergraduate and graduate studies, he spent seven years working in consulting as a civil engineer, specializing in roadway design and traffic engineering projects for municipal clients. His research in civil engineering has focused on the analysis of alternative intersection designs. In his current role as a teaching faculty, research focus has pivoted toward engineering education, with a focus on differentiated curriculum and meeting the needs of a diverse, heterogeneous student body.
