What is your favorite thing about working for the Food Systems Research Center?

It’s great to be working with so many dedicated researchers and professionals exploring the "who, what, when, where, why, and how" behind our food. It’s something that ties us all together, and I’m glad to be part of a community that recognizes that.

What is your favorite thing about living and working in Vermont?

I love Vermont's strong sense of community and the pride people take in stewarding its beautiful landscapes. Plus, no billboards!

What is something about you people would be surprised to learn?

I’m an avid home cidermaker! Apples are an amazing fruit with far more variety and complexity than many realize.

What TV show, band/artist, podcast, video game, book, and/or anything are you most obsessed with right now?

Currently paging through the outdoor field guide Naturally Curious by Mary Holland. It’s an amazing (and very photogenic) month-by-month look at what’s happening outside in the natural world. I highly recommend it to anyone living in the northeast.
