Vitória Cardoso graduated from São Paulo State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. During her undergraduate years, she acquired some undergraduate research experience by studying the impact of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), which is a Brazilian food security public policy, on family farmers’ development. After graduating, she worked for about a year and a half in the financial department of an agribusiness company. In 2022, she got her master’s degree in Agribusiness and Development from São Paulo State University. During her master's, she studied how the meso-institutions affect the access of coffee family farmers to Geographical Indications.
